MISS GHANA UK 2022 PARTNERS WITH CEEK VR METAVERSE FOR 30TH ANNIVERSARY
CEEK VR will stream the show exclusively via the CEEK Metaverse showcasing the theme of Empowering Women
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Miss Ghana UK is pleased to announce that this year’s competition will occur on Saturday, September 10, 2022, with a focus on Beauty, Elegance, Tradition, Culture and Ambition.
This year’s title sponsor, CEEK VR, will stream the show exclusively via the CEEK Metaverse and on www.ceek.com. Giving the audience access to exciting weekly content, with exclusive never before seen footage, leading up to the crowning of Miss Ghana UK 2022.
This year’s theme is Empowering Women — Finding the Yaa Asantewaa in You Edition, 30 Years of The Iconic Miss Ghana UK. The pageant will take place at the Gaumont Palace (DC)The Broadway, High Road, Wood Green.
Ms. Mavis Osei, one of the Directors of Miss Ghana UK, noted that the team is anticipating a wonderful show this year after being away for 2 years due to the pandemic.
“We are looking forward to having a fantastic show for our 30th year. We are introducing several new activities for the ladies which will be showcased on the night and through the contestant’s journey. Miss Ghana UK is truly iconic, and we are proud to be one of very few events in the African, Caribbean, and other Ethnic communities to reach such a great milestone in the United Kingdom,” she said.
Founder and CEO of CEEK VR Metaverse, Mary Spio says, “I’m so thrilled to partner with a show that empowers women and is in line with our core belief system. Even more so, for me, this is a full-circle moment since my roots are Ghanaian.”
Miss Ghana UK is an annual prestigious beauty pageant in the UK and the longest-running Black and Ethnic minority pageant in the UK.
Over the years, the event has established itself as a leading platform that promotes women empowerment and the beautiful country of Ghana, showcasing the rich Ghanaian Culture, Tradition, and Tourism to the rest of the world.
Since its inception, Miss Ghana UK has positively impacted the lives of over 500 young Ghanaian women in the diaspora who are currently in diverse fields including Education, Health, Banking, Arts, Entertainment and more.
